Keryx Mail for Android
Remove your Keryx data
Keryx does not create an Eight Point Labs account. It connects to accounts you already have with a provider or server administrator.
Important distinction
Deleting data from the Keryx app does not delete the server copy. Deleting data from your server may synchronize that deletion to every connected device.
Remove one account from Keryx
- Open Keryx.
- Open Settings and select the account.
- Choose Remove account and confirm.
This removes the saved credential, account settings, and downloaded cache for that account from Keryx on that phone. Mail, contacts, calendars, and tasks on the server remain there.
Remove all Keryx app data from a phone
Use Keryx Settings to remove all accounts, or open Android Settings, then Apps, Keryx, Storage, and choose Clear data. Uninstalling Keryx also removes its private app data. The exact Android labels can vary by phone.
Delete downloads and backup files
Attachments saved to Downloads, files exported through Android's file picker, and Keryx backup files live outside Keryx's private storage. Delete those separately with your phone's Files app or the storage provider where you saved them.
Delete information from the server
Delete individual mail, contacts, events, or tasks through Keryx if you want that deletion synchronized to your server. To close a server account or request deletion of everything it holds, use the provider's account controls or contact the server administrator. Eight Point Labs cannot delete information held by a service it does not operate.
